Collections

Each collection I create has as its source a particular spark of inspiration; it could be a story from a client, a glimpse of a natural scene, a memory. Nature is a constant and powerful influence, offering a wealth of colours, shapes, and textures that shape my creative process. Each collection begins with pencil sketches, followed by the development of ideas through watercolour, where I experiment with tones and compositions. My travel sketchbook is an essential companion, capturing fleeting ideas and drafts that may later evolve into new collections.

Once the concept is clear on paper, I move on to porcelain, where the design truly comes to life. This transition is a dynamic process, often marked by changes and adaptations as the piece is shaped, reflecting a balance between planning and spontaneity. Each creation is unique, and I avoid repeating designs. If I am asked to recreate a piece, I ensure it evolves in some way – whether through colour, structure, or a small detail – maintaining its individuality while preserving the essence of the original inspiration.
