The Fairytale Collection
This dinnerware set reflects a family and its passion. A mother sought a collection that expressed the love that she shares with her daughters for horses. To capture the love of family and of riding, the joy in the mother-daughter bond, I suggested taking a bold approach to create something playful and unique, with bright colours and fun patterns.
Each plate represents a different equestrian competition that the family has experienced, ranging from jumping to dressage. The colours are inspired both by the colours used in the family’s home and by their vibrant and cheerful personality.

The Story Behind
The collection is made up of a set of dinner plates and dessert plates. The combination of the two plates creates a vibrant and balanced set that blends originality with elegance. The dessert plates feature a lively and modern design with a stylised illustration of a horse. The horse is decorated with large polka dots in orange, purple, turquoise, and yellow, each colour representing a family member. The background of the plate is completely white to highlight the figure of the horse and its vibrant colours.
The dinner plate has a more refined and fresh design, featuring a delicately stylised horse evoking both movement and serenity set against a background of vertical stripes in bright colours of orange, blue, turquoise, purple and yellow.
Together, these plates balance playfulness and sophistication, using complementary colours to create contrast and visual harmony. The mix of geometric patterns with the organic lines of the horses adds dynamism to the set, making it an ideal dinnerware collection for a family that wanted to artistically and creatively commemorate cherished memories of past competitions.
